The Oromo Liberation Front Condemns the massive deliberate targeting of its civilian structure by Prime Minister Abiy’s security and military structure across Oromia if deliberately rounding up and sending to concentration camps and taking to unknown locations. Civilian Women, Men, young female, and male Youth en masse are being rounded everywhere and transported to various locations in hundreds. Internet is down in Oromia and difficult to get full information. All these actions are being taken when the UN Security Council is calling to deescalate tensions and respect for human rights. The OLF understands this action of Prime Minister Abiy’s security and military structure is to deliberately sabotage the peace effort called by peace loving peoples of Ethiopia and the international community. The OLF structure is targeted deliberately because OLF was persistently calling for peaceful resolution of the conflict and political dialogue leading to democratic country.<\/p>\n

We strongly caution the Government of Abiy Ahmed to stop mass detention of civilians and continuous Human rights violations.<\/p>\n
