The Kangaroo Court of the TPLF Minority Regime of Ethiopia Convicted 7 Other Civilian Oromos: 4 of them with Death

(OLF News, May 21, 2010) The news OLF News received from Finfinnee (Addis Ababa) reveals that the Kangaroo court of the TPLF dominated regime in Ethiopia gave a death penality on 4 Oromo civilians, life imprisonment on one 10 and 2 years on two others. The verdict is given when Oromos all over the globe Melborne, Australia, Washington DC, USA, and St. Paul, Minnesota, USA, Oslo, Norway, are making a peaceful rally to condemn the death, life and several years of imprisonment of 15 other Oromos on March 31, 2010. Many analysts believe that in this verdict the minority TPLF regime is showing its contempt for the Oromo people. The convicted Oromos are:

1. Dirribe Ettaana,  sentenced to death
2. Deggu Ettaana , sentenced to death
3. Urge Abebe, sentenced to death
4. Girma Raggasa, Life imprisonment
5. Endale Nagari, 10 years imprisonment
6. Werkinesh Dube, two years in jail and 2000 Ethiopian Birr (about $200)
7. Daniel Jalata, sentenced to death (a person who is already dead)

What makes this verdict inhuman is that Mrs. Dirribe Ittana and Mr. Deggu Ettana are siblings (brothers and sisters). Moreover, it is known that Mrs. Urge Abebe (sentenced to death) and Mr. Girma Raggasa are couples (husband and wife).

For detail information about these illegally convicted Oromos, stay tuned with OLF News.
