(OLF News November 21, 2010) A report OLF News received from Oromia revealed that the heroic Oromo Liberation Army (OLA) freedom fighters operating in Hararge zone (Eastern Oromia) and Bale zone (Southern Oromia) have killed 53 invading TPLF led government troops and wounded more than 38 others between November 10 to 17, 2010 at different places. The details of the engagements are as follows:
- November 10, 2010 Western Harage: In Daaroo-Labuu county [woreda] at a place called Korjoo OLA fighters attacked enemy garrison, killed 3 enemy troops, destroyed the camp, confiscated military equipments, and controlled the enemy camp for a long time of the day. The camp was a place used as a commanding post of the regime from where they used to plan and coordinate their attack on the Oromo Liberation Army (OLA).
The same day OLA fighters continued their operation in the same county of Daaroo Labuu and engaged an enemy unit at a place called Saalaa killing 19 and wounding 23 others.
- November 12, 2010, Baalee: In Beeltuu county [woreda] at a place called Araddaa Barree OLA placed a trap on an enemy army moving to attack our fighters, killing 31 and wounding 15 others. In this attack OLA fighters have confiscated several different types of military equipments. Being angry on the attack made by OLA, the regimes’ army attacked civilian population of the area, shooting and wounding at least 3 individuals: 1) Abdulnaasir Sheek Abdallaa, 2) Asladdiin Muhammad Usmaani, and 3) Abdulraafii Sheekaa.
It is to be recalled that OLF News has reported on October 21, 2010 that OLA Eastern command has made 37 enemy troops out of action in Eastern Hararge, Bookee Xiqqoo county at three villages: Village No. 17, Qurquraa, and Gurraattii.
