Oromo uprising against tyranny

In Mattu city, a conference of TTI (Teachers Training College) called by TPLF surrogates became a confrontation ground between TPLF cadre and participants. The participants of the conference rebuffed allegations and negative propaganda of TPLF agents against the Oromo people, source revealed.

In Qarsa district, Jimma Zone, OLF flag was raised the whole night and students were singing nationalistic songs all day long. As usual, source reveled that TPLF agents were searching for Oromo individuals to be arrested.

On April 11, 2006, in district of Baatu, the uprising was lead by high school students and quickly joined by residents. TPLF agents that were shocked by this event are now out to crack down the uprising. According to the information, From April 03- 09, 2006, the following Oromos arrested by TPLF forces:

1. Sorsoo Iddessoo, 2. Amaan Abdellaa, 3. Amaan Kadiir, 4. Bariisoo Bayyanaa 5. Mahaammad Amaan, 6. Mohaammad koobaa 7. Horaa and 8. Mr.Isheetuu
