Students, Hana Chamada and Mamo Fogola had left the university to visit their relatives after completion of their second year studies in June 2006. They were not on the University compound when the student unrest started. The action taken by the university administration shows that the leadership of the university simply obeys orders given to it by their masters without due consideration for the objective facts on the ground. We are receiving reports stating that harassing Oromo students has been stepped up. We will inform you as soon as we get more details.

1. Tolasa Nagara, 2 Alemayehu Mulugeta, 3. Kasahun Eliyas, 4. Girma Dareje

9. Waqira Magarsa, 10. Tolasa Nagasa, 11. Gamachu Fayisa, 12. Girma Dereje
